Privacy Policy

Sleeveworks is built and operated by PENGUINS LLC ("we," "us"). This policy explains what Sleeveworks processes, where that processing happens, how long information is kept, and the limited services used to deliver the app.

The short version

Your conversations and voice content stay on your device. We do not operate an AI service, and Sleeveworks does not send your prompts, replies, transcripts, memories, or microphone audio to us or to a third-party AI service. There are no Sleeveworks accounts, advertisements, analytics, or tracking.

Information stored on your device

Sleeveworks stores messages, assistant replies, saved conversation history, memory notes, personality choices, voice choices, model settings, and purchase entitlement status in the app's local container. The language model and text-to-speech models also run locally. PENGUINS LLC cannot access this information.

Local conversation data remains on the device until you clear it in Sleeveworks or delete the app. Deleting the app removes its local container under iOS. Because we do not have a server copy or user account, there is no remote conversation record for us to retrieve, export, or delete.

Microphone & speech

If you grant microphone and speech-recognition permission and use voice features, Sleeveworks processes microphone audio while listening and requires Apple's on-device speech recognition. If on-device recognition is unavailable for the selected language, voice transcription does not start. Microphone audio is not uploaded or retained by PENGUINS LLC. You can revoke microphone or speech-recognition access at any time in iOS Settings; voice input will then stop working.

Model download

Before local AI can run, Sleeveworks asks your permission to download the public model files you select from Hugging Face, a third-party model-hosting service. Before any request, the app identifies Hugging Face, explains the information sent, and provides an Allow & Download choice. If you allow it, the request identifies the selected model files and Hugging Face receives standard connection information such as your IP address, approximate location derived from it, device type and model, operating-system version, and device/user-agent information.

Under its privacy policy, Hugging Face may use this information to deliver, operate, improve, analyze, and secure its service; communicate about the service; enforce its terms; and satisfy legal or regulatory obligations. It may disclose the information to affiliates, service providers, security or fraud-prevention partners, and legal or regulatory recipients, and may retain it as necessary for those purposes. The download request does not contain your prompts, conversations, replies, transcripts, memories, contacts, photos, or microphone audio. PENGUINS LLC does not receive a copy of Hugging Face's request logs.

Purchases

Purchases and restoration are processed through Apple's StoreKit and your Apple ID. Sleeveworks reads the resulting entitlement on the device so it can unlock a personality. We do not receive or store your payment-card details. Apple's handling of App Store information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Collection, sharing & use

PENGUINS LLC does not collect conversation content or voice data, sell personal information, use personal information for advertising, or track you across apps or websites. Sleeveworks does not share user content with any AI provider. If you consent to a model download, the selected model identifier and the technical connection information described above are disclosed to Hugging Face. The only external services used by the app are Hugging Face for that model-file download and Apple for App Store purchases and operating-system permissions.

Third-party protection

We require third parties that receive personal information from Sleeveworks to provide the same or equal protection described in this policy. Hugging Face states that it uses generally accepted administrative, physical, and technical safeguards and requires its service providers to maintain confidentiality. Based on those published commitments, we confirm that Hugging Face provides the same or equal protection for the limited model-download information Sleeveworks discloses. Hugging Face's independent processing remains governed by its privacy policy.

Your choices

You choose whether to grant microphone and speech-recognition access, which models to download, what conversations to keep, and whether to purchase a personality. You can clear a conversation from the app menu, remove downloaded models from the storage menu, revoke permissions in iOS Settings, or delete Sleeveworks to remove its local data.

Children

Sleeveworks is rated 18+ and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date.
